The General Laborer / Maintenance Worker performs the duties necessary to maintain the physical appearance of our properties.

This is a full time hourly position.

Pay Range

$15 - $17 per hour

Qualifications :

• High school diploma / GED (on-the-job training and experience combination may substitute for education requirement)
• an ability to lift 75 pounds
• Must be flexible and able to perform any duty assigned or required for the upkeep of our properties
• willing / able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Mowing, trimming, mulching, weed, control, planting, pruning, seasonal clean- up
• Janitorial and clean up of work sites
• Moving furniture, materials or supplies
• General labor
• Performs elementary painting and repairing of walls, furniture, cabinets, and windows, doors locks and keys.
• Performs minor electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Performs minor repairs on fans and air conditioners.
• Performs routine plumbing repairs.
• Performs rough carpentry work.
• Performs basic janitorial duties as needed.
• Performs grounds work, landscaping, and snow removal
• Assists in administration of special maintenance programs.
• Know / observes safety precautions and fire safety procedures and emergency action plans and use of fire control / alarm systems and extinguishers.
• Any other duties assigned
